BEAUTY on the runway: CND nail trends at FASHION WEEK fall 2011

The CND nails team was a big part of the backstage beauty New York fashion scene for FALL 2011, The FDM selection from BLONDS + JEN KAO +DIEGO BINETTI + CATHERINE MALANDRINO by brigitte segura written by Dawn Del Russo on  FASHION DAILY MAG. Kristina Estabrooks created fabulously ornate styles that included Swarovski crystals and crushed glass for The Blonds show.

For Binetti she created “Cubism-inspired” nails using CND Blackjack as a base, and Raisin in the Sun for the tips.  For Malandrino the nails were oval shaped with a twist on the typical french manicure, using a dark black tip.

Kristina, influenced by swamps in nature for  the nail art at Jen Kao used long almond shaped nails painted Gold Chrome, Midnight Sapphire, and drops of Iced Blue Shimmer to create a water affect.
