BACKSTAGE STORIES: rock meets rap at Artistix

SHOWTIME: it’s not just the clothes that makes the show amazing, right?.  Though we see the models strutting to flaunt their best on the runway, the backstage vibes + people are what make it so rockin’ hot.   On the ‘rock’ note, and one of my favorite vibes during NYFW behind the scenes was the ARTISTIX  by Greg Polisseni is a rock meets rap mashup.

Presented by Andy Hilfiger, the backstage rock and roll  + rap artists mingled with models, editors, musicians and Hilfigers 🙂  can you spot the new gen Hilfigers?

We felt so at home backstage, we set up an impromptu editorial, with Paul Morejon taking photos while I creative directed on spot. Indeed fun times creating, which turned into one massive backstage photoshoot with other photographers and rappers.. both before and after the runway show + at the after party. One rare authentic (good) vibe during fashion week.
