BACHELOR living: MILAN DESIGN style
UP CLOSE in Milan: With Milan design week around the corner, we took a closer look a local modern residential interior to get some fresh inspo for spring. Designed by Attilio Ladina, the 2 story Casa Gallo situated in the metropolis of Milan opens to a glorious terrace on both floors. A view of the entire skyline of the city amongst greenery that actually feels like a garden is Antonio Gallo’s daily cityscape.
Designed to fit Mr. Gallo’s fast paced lifestyle in communications for brands including the special initiative of Pirelli Design, Romeo Gigli, and swatch, the apartment and deco fuses design and art in a peaceful functional space. With his home, Antonio wanted to express the feeling of an international dimension where he could receive guests, recreating a sort of “map” of his various travels and memories.
“A magical space immersed in a veritable “Pandora’s box” of treasures where at first one observes the variations of light and space, only to then be fascinated by the variety of objects, Contemporary art, Pop art, pieces of ethnic art, and collected antiquity recreating the memories of his story.”
Here’s a view of the fantastic details of a Milanese apartment.
