about Konstantin Kofta: Kofta combines seemingly contradictory elements outside the traditional canons of the fashion industry. His garments are sensual, effortlessly elegant, practical and wearable. Kofta uses rough skin, irregular shapes and unique scents to create a totally new vision of the attire as a whole. Designer Konstantin Kofta combines rural and urban perceptions, and embraces the unintentional and unexpected, which provide inspiration for current and future collections. Each collection appears as a form of art installation.
about ØDD: Launched in 2011 as a web-based store, then the ØDD concept stepped offline with a storefront bringing avant-garde fashion to 164 Ludlow in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Owner Judson Harmon, the 21-year old multitasking owner/model/wunderkind behind all things ØDD, debuted ØDD’s first namesake collection during this past New York Fashion Week on February 11th. The ØDD womenswear collection will arrive in-store alongside a sleigh of downtown’s most coveted designers including Gareth Pugh, Issey Miyake, and Thierry Mugler as the (barely) six-month old boutique transitions into a uniquely experiential avant-garde retail space. Harmon’s brick and mortar space will deliver conceptual designs in a conceptual retail space via not only the designer inventory but also by commissioning a series of continual art installations and immersive experiences within the storefront.
