Annual Edeyo Gives Hope Gala for Haiti
In celebration of vibrant and colorful culture of Haiti, this year’s Annual Edeyo Gives Hope Ball will be hosted by Stephen Baldwin and co-chaired by Nigel Barker. Taking place on Weds July 16th at the Historic Liberty Theater in NYC, the charitable event and fundraiser is devoted to improving the future for children in Haiti through programs focused on Education.

Founded by two childhood friends, The Edeyo Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children in Haiti by providing free education, nutritious meals, and health care for happy and healthy lives. The fun evening will showcase Edeyo’s charitable programs abroad while exposing guests to the vibrant culture of Haiti. The ticketed evening’s program will include a cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, and live auction. Special guest musical performances by Grammy- Award winning Jazz Guitarist Fabrizio Sotti & Grammy-Award winning recording artist, Melanie Fiona, music & dancing by Donna D. Cruz.

ABOUT EDEYO FOUNDATION Edeyo, derived from a Haitian Creole word meaning “help them”, is a NYC based non-profit organization, devoted to improving the future for children in Haiti through programs focused on Education. Supporting the impoverished Bel-Air neighborhood, in Port-au-Prince Haiti, Edeyo’s primary school supplies life-changing opportunities through free education and the provision of desperately needed food, water, health care, and social support to affected children. Since its grassroots beginning in 2007, Edeyo has grown to support a school of over 300 elementary school students annually, providing them with a haven of safety and hope. Edeyo also provides full scholarships to over two dozen high school students, facilitating their path to long-term success.
