Alice + Olivia Spring 2014

Alice + Olivia’s latest offering played out like a homage to the life and times of the young and impressionable. An array of flirty separates intended to swoon sweet girls with city style. Devoted fans of the pretty-meets-preppy brand are sure to make use of designer Stacey Bendet’s line-up of daytime charm that is sassed up for a night on the town.

Collarless sharply-cut blazers and clean cut, simple collared tops gave the collection a sophisticated, grown-up feel amid the onslaught of pretty, lace party dresses, colorfully embellished cropped jackets and print cardigans. Looks ranging from slouchy knee-length trousers paired with a boyfriend-style blazer to a dramatic floor-length ball gown with a racy, black halter neck completed the charming affair, which jumped from casual to evening-ready with effortless ease. Floaty full-length gowns, frilly skirts, and statement separates, such as a color-blocked cream, black, and red cotton ball gown skirt hit the spot.
