a new DARK OBSESSION

Calvin Klein has unveiled a new men’s fragrance, DARK OBSESSION. The fragrance itself and accompanying ad campaign will debut across the globe starting mid-March. The stimulating Calvin Klein DARK OBSESSION video and print campaign defines masculine confidence with sex appeal and modernity. In featuring model Matt Terry as the face or bod rather behind the branding, the company has got some tongues wagging.

Terry, the oh so attractive newbie has generated quite a buzz over the last several months including the most recent broadcast of the Calvin Klein Underwear :30 commercial that was televised during Super Bowl XLVII, and subsequently became a talk show circuit conversation for weeks to come.

The fragrance contains aromatic oriental essences that evoke a boldness with intense sensuality. Top note include Brazilian green mandarin, guarana, and absinthe freshened with mid notes of french Clary sage, fir balsam, and white vetiver, made spicy with dry notes of Madagascar vanilla bean, labdanum, and suede. In packaging that captures the classic OBSESSION for men with a twist, the recognized bottle is reworked in black with a silver logo. The scent will be available at Macy’s retail locations nationwide as an eau de toilette spray in two sizes (2.5oz/75ml $55.00, 4oz/125ml $69.00) as well as a deodorant body spray (5.4oz/152g $15.00).
