fdmLOVES: LACOSTE fall 2012 runway An icy partition split the runway into a patron lined promenade a lá the Theatre at Lincoln Center. A sleek ski scene enveloped the crowd of industry insiders and fans alike with special touches like feathers falling on front rowers and celeb sightings like a Mr. KellAn Lutz looking very much the urban spectator part. Creative Director Felipe Oliveira Baptista was inspired by Lacoste looks of yore, even citing the brand’s contract with the French national ski team back in 1966 as a direct reflection, all the While designing in step with the modernized vision for the brand.
