Those looking for Erin Fetherston’s trademark dresses were not disappointed by her FW 2012 presentation at Milk Studios. An enchanted forest feeling was set before the collection was even in view. A harpist, dressed in a beautiful Erin dress, set the mood as models lounged on golden tree stumps in shimmering party frocks and evening gowns. Prints also dotted this nature-inspired collection.
In particular, a pair of silk crepe de chine pants and matching dress displayed a bright yellow floral design. Black, gold, and neutral tones were the foundation of this collection, with the occasional dress in a deep green or metallic rust, Sequins and beading appeared on everything from mini-dresses with voluminous sleeves to belted sheath dresses to goddess-inspired draped gowns.
