Wolf Home x Art Markit pop-up art collectibles
Pop Art lovers and fans, this fashionable collab is for you. Wolf Home has collaborated with non-profit Art Production Fund Art Markit and are bringing us a new Pop-up shop of fun collectibles. The product range from mugs to custom nail art includes works of Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, Andy Warhol, Ryan McGinley and street artist Baron Von Fancy. Our colleague + avid pop art enthusiast Nicole Gordon Levine (BeautyIsOurAddiction) took a look at some of the pieces at the launch recently and here’s what she got us all excited about:
“The event was off the charts cool. Located at 22nd and Broadway at the Wolf Home headquarters, the outcome was a visual delight for me and hundreds of others in attendance. Hannah Bronfman was spinning great music as the crowd enjoyed custom nail art provided by Vanity Projects (check out the live snaps Nicole took). The eclectic mix in attendance was a fusion of artists as fashion, beauty and lifestyle bloggers. I recognized so many faces and as an artist myself, appreciated how much support Art Markit was given. Baron Von Fancy, one of my street artists, created the signage and other clever products within the store itself.”
Warren Kay, the Founder and Designer of Wolf Home, has established himself as one of the most sought after textile designers and one walking through their store, one would see why. It’s eclectic in textures, patterns and very haute haute in decor. The Warhol Surfboard still remains one of my favorite pieces, yet the pictures of both Debbie Harry and Mick Jagger come in as a close second. These coveted items to use, gift, and collect the artists’ work are an easy way to surround ourselves with art to love every day.
