ROBERTO CAVALLI appoints new CEO

CHANGES on the fashion horizon, and a new CEO for Roberto Cavalli S.p.A. Gian Giacomo Ferraris as CEO of the company. Both current CEO Renato Semerari and Chairman Francesco Trapani are set to step down officially on September 10, 2016.

The appointment of Gian Giacomo Ferraris follows Renato Semerari’s decision to leave the CEO role due to divergences on the company’s development strategy, while Mr. Trapani will be pursuing other career opportunities.

Gian Giacomo Ferraris, a seasoned exec in the international fashion and luxury goods industry, with a background at Gucci and the Prada Group as well as projects handled at Jil Sander and Versace.
