CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

FALL floral trends

As August peaks and the end of summer draws near, it’s time to start integrating fall trends into our every day ensembles. Lucky for us, it looks like Fall (and prefall) is coming up roses (and daisies, and petunias, too!) since the season’s hottest trend is one we are already well acquainted with.

Spring may be synonymous with floral fashion, but it looks like the trend is flourishing well into fall 2015. This autumn, seventies influenced prints and textured embellishments take the spotlight. The use of 3D appliqué at shows such as Giambattista Valli, Naeem Khan, and Alexander McQueen provided a modern take on the perennial trend, while Carven and Burberry opted for retro tapestry-like prints.

This upcoming season, florals bloom in a full spectrum of hues and shapes. Color palettes span from stunning shades of vibrant red to muted autumnal browns and greens. The trend looks equally as chic in a head to toe print as it does a solo embellishment or a la Dries Van Noten. A few more fave florals from Valentino, Dsquared2, and Giulietta… and whatever your preference may be, there is a bloom for every style that won’t disappoint this season.
