Lanvin Fall 2014 PFW
In all its dramatic glory, the Lanvin Fall 2014 collection brought the house down. Shown during PFW, designer Alber Elbaz presented his girls in the dark of night…shades, that is. With trending headgear like wide-brim hats appearing down this runway too, it’s no surprise that this season is all about mysterious intrigue. Are designers infatuated about a girl unknown? Perhaps, but we do know that this deliciously dark set is one of Paris’ best.
From satin silhouettes to fuzzy outerwear, there’s so much European charm in this set. Frills aren’t over the top and, instead, enhance the feminine shapes. There’s plenty of showstoppers to gush about, but a sleeveless leather dress must be mentioned. Its high front slit and belted waist make for sexy additions. It oozes female empowerment and is the epitome of confidence. Prints are kept elegant in black and white floral with long slinky black gloves up the arms. As some of the hats cast a shadow over the models’ faces, all eyes must pay close attention to the creations below. Fierceness incognito.
This is a collection that will keep any girl satisfied. There’s dressy, there’s casual and work attire with a bite. Lanvin girls strut with attitude and class. fdmLOVES LANVIN Fall 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
