STONE ISLAND menswear fall 2013
There’s a spectrum of bright colors for Stone Island‘s menswear fall 2013 collection. The utilitarian styles are still present, with an added feature of a younger, more fashion-conscious edge. Model Simone Nobili shows off the high style gone rugged luxury outerwear, with form-fitting pants and combat boots to complete the wilderness- inspired trending looks.
In the Stone Island tradition, all of these pieces can withstand the elements. Camouflage print is all over, and gets a fashionable lift in printed jackets and pants. A red suede bomber jacket can only be described as ‘red hot.’ It’s delectable menswear. A similar royal blue coat has the adverse effect with it’s too-cool feel. Periwinkle is even spotted on a comfortable hooded coat… stare a while and notice the almost metallic look. That’s where innovative technical materials come into play, both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Red shades shine the brightest, including a button hooded ensemble. That piece in particular can be dressed down or up. It’s almost too nice for a hike in the dirt. Even a simple hunting orange hoodie and gray jeans looks like a million bucks. Let’s not forget the silver sneaks down below either. What a combo! The rest of these looks can please every type of guy: those who love clothes, and those who don’t like to admit they do. With guys sporting these styles…don’t you just love the great outdoors now? fdmLOVES STONE ISLAND menswear fall 2013 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
