Ricardo Seco Spring 2014
Playing it cool with a power play, we got some up close and personal time in with Ricardo Seco’s Spring 2014 collection. From start to finish the aesthetic was appealing, even closing the show with models posed on pedestals dotted along the front row. We were lucky enough to have the stars align with hunk Bruce Machado landing before us.
With fierce beats and a concentrated mix of urban flavor hitting high notes the city stride that brushed up with Eastern influence was magnetic. Funky patterns and moments of mesh made for eclectic layering of shapes and fabric as loose fitting pants where offset with streamlined silhouettes. Textured interest drew out multiple responses and leather proved an all important element used to solidify the credibility of style.
Leaving an ultimate impression of real world wants – the guys were outfitted in an assortment of boldly colored New Balance sneakers and accessorized to a tee – the look gets amped up with sunglasses and backpacks. fdmLOVES RICARDO SECO SPRING 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Sarah A.
