get the LOOK: JOSHUA JACKSON
Forever Heartthrob JOSHUA JACKSON: Standing at a tall 6’2″ with eyes as green as sapphires, Joshua Jackson is the quintessential Canadian-American leading man. He’s what you’d call a ‘red carpet veteran,’ an old pro of constant swooning thanks to his Dawson’s Creek days. With his chiseled features and style like no other, he stands out in Issue 125 with gorgeous shots by Kurt Iswarienko and styling by Gaelle Paul. Coming off of a successful 5-season run with TV show Fringe, Mr. Jackson pauses for a moment to reflect on his career…and might we add he does so handsomely.
“I guess I like sort of classic men’s stuff, rather than anything too current. “Not pushing the envelope too much.” – JJ
Take a look at these dapper duds Joshua’s sporting. He’s mixing modern cuts and classic mens silhouettes flawlessly. Case in point, the Alexander McQueen black wool suit, Burberry white shirt and Lanvin suede and patent-leather sneakers. Not to mention that too-handsome-for-words Paul Smith teal slim-fit wool suit, shirt, and Paul Smith Shoes & Accessories Jacob high-shine leather brogues. Excuse us while we ogle a bit. Another more causal look is a Lanvin knitted wool sweater, Loro Piana slim-fit trousers and Lanvin burnished-leather Oxford shoes. Canali, Gucci, Maison Martin Margiela, and Church’s are all brands worth mentioning also featured in this shoot. Guys, can you all start dressing like this right now, please!
Mr. Jackson recently attended the New York Met Ball’s fashion exhibition at the Costume Institute. He was impressed by the ‘punk’ theme, saying that’s where we are now, mixing two very different things together and making it work. As for himself, he says he’s more of a classic dresser kind of guy. We say keep doing just that. All clothing found now at Mr. Porter. fdmLOVES Joshua Jackson selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
