Emerson by Jackie Fraser-Swan fall 2013 look book
The intriguing idea of the post-apocalyptic world turned Jackie Fraser-Swan, a Boston based designer’s brand Emerson, into a 2013 contemporary version of school house rock. The rebel-chic collection exhibited earth toned plaid, lined, and modestly collared pieces. Unique cuts and asymmetrical linings contributed to the entirety of the fall look.
“I feel as though this Fall 2013 collection shows the true aesthetic of my brand. I continue to use unique fabrics and cuts that keep my collections exciting and different…” shares Fraser-Swan.
Leather mixed frocks with chiffon patterned plaids, and quirky pieces including the fab plaid skirt were some of our favorites. Spunky cut out dresses and short sleeved button downs were attributed with Petite and grandeur stripes. The punk-inspired textures crowning the dresses, pants and skirts were any where and everywhere in between sleek leather and friendly tweed.
This coming autumn, fall into a fun world of earthy textures styled chic with Emerson by Jackie Fraser-Swan. fdmLOVES Emerson fall 2013 look book selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Julia Paulescu.
