REEM ACRA fall 2012

The show got going with gusto as soon as the rope was taken off the runway.  Our Editor, Brigitte [Segura], loved the first eight looks at REEM ACRA fall 2012 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  the black dresses, the leather, trapunto details, the added appeal with the lace layered. The snugly wrapped daytime pieces had sass,  the tonal houndstooth checks had a cheeky elegance as they ushered in some beaded minis at cocktail hour.

Glam goddesses emerged in hugging sheer silhouettes finely beaded with bright silver, glimmering gold and other shimmering shades. Overdone drama cut-outs had attitude, and that’s something we can appreciate with this line… especially considering the Hollywood following, which should now go even younger with some of the styles. what a nice surprise this show was! by Sarah A.
