A younger GAZAR + SEQUINED outlook, giving us PEPLUMS and 2-toned SPACE AGE CROCKs with a nice handful of flowing DRAMA GOWNS, with an energized applause as always at the end…
Isaac Mizrahi oh what a WOMAN in WHITE… and an Isaac SASS of go XEROX-bowed , a little lazer cut, a little lace, and some FAB flaunting NECK and CUFF accessorized in place… to just show us what she’s (still) GOT! FDM ♥ 19 20 22… a FRAGMENTation (or defragmentation) of DAVIDEFINs TAUTOLOGY for spring|summer 2011.. BRACE yourself: destroy + rebuild, a reFASTENing.. in search of shelter and security… FDM ♥8 9 10 16 20 25 27 and the JOLTs of BLUE is LOUBOUTIN by DAVIDELFIN shoes.. HOT>>
CARLOS MIELE with FDM special guest of Brigitte’s at the show was POP ARTIST KAT DELUNA , who loved the zipper detailed + jacket + zipper dresses and royal blue shorts, while Kristin Cavallari [next to Brigitte] loved the long flowing dresses in the softened colors FDM ♥ the wide leg pants in white + looks 5 6 7 15 22 25 27 31 32, and the additions of the sportswear were stronger this season… Carlos had special guest singing Bebel Gilberto giving us the usual flavor of BRAZIL…

a newfound double-take ♥4 19 20 21 24 at bibhu MOHAPATRA.. a visual connection of diversity in the detailing of this collection, a beautiful presentation of styling accessorized by shoes from Brian Atwood and hats from Victor Osborne.. a MATURed ease in the MARRIAGE of fabrics + design is yet to come… he got our attention, we see GREATer things coming SOON, but the distraction of the fabric challenges were obvious in lumps… steam ON the seams, please!!

BLANKSILK by Meghan Walsh… a good start for this new designer, a beautiful view in a downtown PENTHOUSE with a spectacular view.. CHIC girls satined lounging cool, accompanied by some not-so-shabby extras [guys as props]… Loved the simplicity in the start, Megan’s got a good eye, an understanding of fabric and drape, no extra “stuff” needed; and we liked that!. A great start we’ll be keeping an eye out as it develops.
Michael angel, who has designed some bags with Maybelline for Fashion’s night out this year, had some interesting details + printed looks on the runway… we liked the more feminine detailed silhouettes and backs, though it was a bit too too… much with the sparkles and all. we can see the prints layered with some solids in real time…
