NORMAN AMBROSE glimmers for spring 2012 | MBFW
fdm LOVES: oh NORMAN, norman… your girls sparkle gorgeously CHIC! Norman Ambrose spring 2012 MBFW lit the stage with a tinsel town of color in metallic and copper shining light to a fresh and creative womens line for spring 2012. Glossy cloths with sequins catch the light like a silver sea reflecting in the night sky and long sleeveless dresses cropped at the neckline resemble Egyptian armor. The eye catcher was the orange glistening piece cut like a swimsuit, taking on the look of a 1940’s synchronized swimmer.
A “one of a kind” visual that keeps the eye intrigued. Knee length pieces flowed in lightweight fabrics with silver leaf blueprints on the material. Vinery prints took shape on sheer fabrics drifting behind at a v-cut, leaving the front of the look open, legs exposed… sensual slices demanding attention, but, if the cuts don’t shock you, the mix of hot and icy colors will. Whether fiery like a flame or chilly like an ice sculpture, the juxtaposition of colors shows a new dimension of creativity. The line may not be conventional, but certainly creative, flirtatious and fun, with alot of bling.
