fdm selection of LOVES from HERVE LEGER max azria fall 2012 MBFW.. a quick peek at CORSETed details, fuzzy adds and chained coolness… Backstage stop before the show: our Editor in Chief Brigitte Segura caught up with the lovely Lubov Azria who dished on the exciting creative process for Hervé Léger by Max Azria for Fall 2012. She told us ‘pushing a couple of directions creates a line that easily blends trend with tradition. This season’s muse – well known and as captured by Richard Avedon, fueled the fire… going bold with the bandage dress with nearly every look featuring touches of bondage.‘ The look lent a slightly gothic slant in clingy and black, whereas the more costumed when used for going gladiator in tanned leather (chesnut) paired with neutral colors of light and lofty fabrics for contrast. While details could be construed as cluttered for this line, there was just enough emphasis for flair while staying true to simple and clean. With pleating, beadwork, fringe, and trim enhanced the primal appeal of the pairings, which as a complete package qualifies as dare to wear.
