CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

From Italy With Love: Lago Maggiore

Italy has a way of reminding me why beauty, art, and lifestyle are inseparable. From Italy, With Love! Lago Maggiore was one of the stops on our journey through Italy, and it became the place where everything came together—fashion, culture, creative exchange, and a slower, more intentional way of living. Just beyond Milan, near the Swiss border, Luino revealed itself as a quiet jewel: serene waters, elegant villas, and a deeply rooted artistic spirit that feels both timeless and modern.

This visit was shaped by an ongoing international collaboration between Italy and the United States—one that celebrates cultural heritage through art, storytelling, and visual dialogue. The collaboration with Brigitte Segura of FashionDailyMag with journalist Simona Fontana Contini and The Everlasting People of Le Sempiterne. Together, we continue to build a bridge between creative worlds, sharing Italian excellence and American perspective through Fashion Daily Mag, Le Sempiterne, and our digital platforms.

The room at Palazzo Verbania was filled with inspiring women—artists, founders, and CEOs whose work shapes both culture and industry. Among them were Patrizia Ghiringhelli, CEO of an Italian manufacturing company rooted in precision and innovation, and Lara Luz, owner of Villa Porta, whose vision of hospitality blends heritage with contemporary elegance. Surrounded by female creatives and leaders, the experience felt like a powerful exchange of ideas, where art, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration naturally intersected.

Lago Maggiore felt like the perfect place for this exchange to unfold. Our days in Luino began at Palazzo Verbania, a lakeside landmark that became a living gallery of Lombard art. I was immersed in works inspired by light, harmony, mysticism, and nature—each artist offering a distinct voice and vision. From the poetic Tracce di Luce series to powerful black-and-white photography and abstract floral compositions, the experience felt deeply personal, like stepping inside the creative heartbeat of the region. Artists and art we saw included Adele Cossi, Francesco Marino, Marika Lagana, Maurizio Boscheri, Cristina Dicembrino, Vera Del Pilar, Stigliano, and Pier Marcello Castelli. Works by celebrated artist Giovanni Carnovali detto IL PICCO were also on view at the event.

Beyond the art, Luino’s lifestyle left a lasting impression on me and my partner Neil. Walking along the lake, visiting historic cafés, sailing clubs, and private villas, we discovered a refined elegance that doesn’t ask for attention—it simply exists. Villa Filippi, Villa Porta in Colmegna, Villa Liberte, and the historic architecture along the waterfront all spoke of craftsmanship, heritage, and a way of life shaped by beauty and intention.

Even in winter, Lago Maggiore is luminous. The clear water reflects the surrounding mountains, the pace is unhurried, and the atmosphere invites you to pause, observe, and feel. This journey was not an ending to our trip, but a beginning—an inspiration for future collaborations and a return already imagined for us. Italy, once again, reminded us that true luxury is found where art, culture, and authenticity meet.
