Sophia Kokosalaki is leaving DIESEL black gold

DIESEL has announced the end of its collaboration with Sophia Kokosalaki, who has been designing Diesel Black Gold women’s line since June 2009. Her final collection for Spring | Summer 2013 will be shown during the upcoming NYFW in September, 2012.  The designer’s creative direction has been seen on the NY runway for the last 6 seasons. A new womenswear designer will be announced early October.

Sophia Kokosalaki shares: “The last three years I have spent at Diesel Black Gold have been a very interesting and enjoyable experience. I would like to thank the whole DBG team for their hard work and support in helping me to establish this line. I am now looking forward to new challenges and wish Diesel Black Gold every success in the future”.
