Ruthie Davis + John Bartlett spring 2014

Look ahead and get excited, even if next spring is not soon enough . American shoe designer, Ruthie Davis, and menswear innovator, John Bartlett, just announced the good news that they’re launching the Ruthie Davis (HEART) John Bartlett footwear collection for Spring 2014.

And the story behind the collab is too cute: both met in the lobby of their apartments, shared their love of animals and fashion and decided on this special endeavor together. A collab straight from the ‘HEART.’ Nothing better.

The duo collaborated on three different styles: the classic Davis spiky high top, low profile jogger and the hot heeled pump. All looks feature the famous Bartlett ‘Tiny Tim’ print (a special nod to his late dog.) The pup print is adorable and works on formal and sporty silhouettes. The sneakers will be available in both women’s and men’s sizes. And here’s a huge plus: all the footwear is made from sustainable and vegan material. Cute and eco-friendly…shoe shopping without the buyer’s remorse.

It gets even better: for every pair of sneakers purchased, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Barlett’s Tiny Tim Rescue Fund. A nonprofit charity organization that dedicates to raising and distributing funds to animal rescue groups who pull animals from high-kill shelters.
