PUBLIC SCHOOL fall 2013

The Public School fall 2013 presentation was set against a bare bones backdrop at Milk Studios aka the Milk MADE shows. The quadratic layout revealed a well-rounded view, making the boys + the fashions stand out with an up-close and personal feel. Speaking of which, our blondie model of the season Lyle Lodwick was there catching our eye along with Matt and a couple of (brunettes) too!

Designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne cited deconstruction and reconstruction as the identifying force behind their “When No One’s Looking” themed collection. It’s all there – street wear roughness, gym class with lounge-like appeal, and for tailored the looks – a little prepster turned bad boy too.

Fabrications got special treatment with interesting washes, ombre elements, embellishments, and explorations with detailing in general. Leathers where impactful slim cut or vested, as were other outerwear components. Styled suitably with white soled black patent sneakers and topped with stocking caps or wide-brim hats, the look left us feeling cool for school.  fdmLOVES Public School fall 2013 selects Brigitte Segura, written by Sarah A.
