During the Milan Fashion Week 2019, Jennifer Lopez wore a redesigned model of her 2000 Grammy Awards green Versace dress. The plunging dress, which featured a jungle print, inspired the creation of different Versace couture creations. Check the Versace new collection for women to discover astonishing couture. Versace’s green dress caused so many image queries in 2000 that Google created its Google Images tool to help users find what they were searching for. The 2019 Versace new women’s collection focused on Donatella’s previous palm tree print collections, you can view it on luisaviaroma or other fashion-friendly sites. It was one of the first collections, which Donatella designed after her brother’s death in 1997. Once the models exited the catwalk, Donatella Versace’s voiceover demanded that the infamous green JLo dress appear. The video screens highlighted multiple pictures of the dress. Afterward, Donatella called for the real dress. That is when Jennifer Lopez appeared on the runway, wearing the dress, reimagined for 2020.

Fendi at the Trevi Fountain
Fendi’s show for couture fall/winter (F/W) 2016-2017 began in luxury. A chartered plane brought the guests from Paris to Rome. Nobody was disappointed when they arrived at the show’s location, the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Models walked on a catwalk, which was built over the water at the Trevi Fountain. The clothes enriched the atmosphere with romance and glamour. Karl Lagerfeld‘s inspiration for the show was a children’s illustrated storybook. The show was defined by opulence, imagination, and magic as Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and other models seemingly walked on water in Rome’s home label of Fendi. Check out the video too.

Thierry Mugler’s Robot Women
Thierry Mugler’s show for F/W 1995-1996 was set in an enormous venue, inspired by the sets of old Hollywood musicals. Celebrities such as James Brown, Patty Hearst, Tipi Hendren, and Kabuki Starshine entertained the audience. Supermodels including Jerry Hall, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, Shalom Harlow, and Carmen Dell’Orefice, all walked the runway. The centrepoint of the show was the cyborg suit. It represented the beginning of the digital age. The 2016 Mugler show comprised the same elements including thigh-high boots, corsets, and latex.

Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2009
The fall/ winter 2009 Alexander McQueen fashion show was a brave satire of the 20th-century fashion industry. The models wore clothes, which parodied Christian Dior looks, Chanel’s tweed suit, and older McQueen collections. The designer’s romantic character shut down for this show. The entire atmosphere was filled with anger, sarcasm, and defiance. His purpose was to highlight the state of the fashion industry, through his genius eyes.

Vivienne Westwood Fall/Winter 1993-1994: Anglomania
Vivienne Westwood’s Anglomania show became a classic. Each model wore a theatrical masterpiece down the catwalk, in a way more Vivienne Westwood than ever before. The designer went big with her F/ W 1993-1994 show. The models wore oversized bags, huge heels, and furs. The heels were so high, that fashion’s favorite model Naomi Campbell fell over on her platforms walking down the runway. The makeup featured British nuances and the dresses were designed to slip elegantly off the shoulder.
