CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Missoni Fall 2014 MFW

Everyone knows Missoni and knitwear go together. The classic zigzag print and patchwork has been amplified for Fall 2014. Shown during MFW, designer Angela Missoni dressed her girls in menswear staples this time around. The results are still laden with feminine undertones. Colors are 100 percent autumn as gold, orange and brown took center stage like falling leaves. It’s a warm, inviting and all-around cozy chic.

Hanne Gaby Odiele’s sporting that lovely yellow shade that keeps popping up. Gorgeous!

Outerwear is superb as tailored coats and hooded gems possess trendy sophistication. A few contain wild pops of azul, especially attractive in a fashionable raincoat. Handbags are also in that striking shade, along with detailing on other coats. There’s vests in sweater variations along with loose trousers that match ankle boots with flair. These pieces are rich in color and texture…you just want reach out and touch the softness. The Missoni zigzag is enlarged and placed gorgeously on loose coats and across a sleeveless sweater. There’s even updated hip wear, too cosmopolitan to be of the fanny pack persuasion.

This muse is wordly, switching from dresses to cargo pants effortlessly. Flirting with boyish? Yes, but that’s how cool this girl is. fdmLOVES MISSONI Fall 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
