CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

JONATHAN SIMKHAI spring lookbook selects

Sexy athleticism is alive and well in these shots from the Jonathan Simkhai’s Spring 2014 lookbook. Inspired by the infamous mods vs. rockers brawl at Brighton Beach in the 1960s, these duds also show a delicious clash between the two subgroups. Stripes in all different shapes and sizes create a lovely patchwork on dresses and matching sweatshirt-skirt sets. The use of leather is sporty and sexy all in one. A unique set for the upcoming season that’s too cute, comfortable and wearable.

Instead of typical short-skirt styles for spring, Simkhai’s really feeling the long vibe in stunning skirts and dresses that ooze femininity. Slouchy slacks that often graze the floor are high fashion wonderful, especially paired with a black leather motorcycle jacket. This girl is sunny and beachy fun, who also doesn’t mind getting her feet wet. Girly with an added edgy bite. Peach shades and off-white midriff-baring numbers are the perfect styles for the warmer months to come.

There’s something so fresh about these looks that ladies will be running to sport. The best of both worlds…and it’s fabulous. fdmLOVES JONATHAN SIMKHAI spring  lookbook selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
