CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Hermes Menswear spring 2014

There’s nothing better than an effortlessly luxurious line. Hermes Menswear spring 2014 is one of the most attractive and wearable lines we’ve seen in menswear. Designer Veronique Nichanian‘s vision for guys this season is undoubtedly perfect- not to mention the casting including Lucho Jacob. Preppy cool with that hint of lux, they’re the kind of clothes you want to see your guy in. Too-cool suit jackets, loose-fitting button ups and boho trousers with sandals are the stapes throughout. Pure summertime looks…can you feel the warm breeze?

The palette here is cool. Ocean blue, teal, gray and a pretty chocolate brown are lovely to see together. Navy, black and white feels fresh and easy. These are clothes for a laid-back type of man. Nothing looks uncomfortable to be in. The blue and teal matching suits are pieces Ryan Gosling would sport at an event. Lightweight knit cardigans and hooded shirts are looks to wear on a starry warm night. The black pieces are ideal for a guy with a little more edge, but ones who would still attend wine tastings. Here’s a fun surprise: some shirts come with detachable scarf collars and pullovers have side zippers. There’s that added lux flavor. Sleeves are rolled up to show the easygoing vibe this designer was going for. It’s hard to stop staring!

Models are carrying weekend man bags that never look out of place, and those masculine sandals make everything flow. This line embodies so many different guys, every single one can be themselves in these pieces. A Hermes wearer is always easy on the eyes. It’s a guarantee with this line. fdmLOVES HERMES Menswear spring 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
