A heavy (dubbed: 20oz) denim was used throughout the collection as were rich wools with styled that ranged from military mix and match to highly tailored ensembles. Pant styles worth name dropping include the Charlie pant, A-Crotch, and the 3301 Jeg skinny for women. Another interesting element this season was the use of an intense shade of blue called Mazarine inspired by a fabric that existed before denim called Toile de Chine. Tops also left an impression with jackets that had sleeves with dimension or boldly wide cuts paired that pair well with slims.

The very sexy Stephen Dorff, who very much embodies the label’s clean cut for a bad boy’s style, grabbed up some major attention with his arrival. Cinema legend Michael Madsen also made a scene with an unexpected “art intervention” mid-presentation. Other performance enhancing elements included a music performed by Dutch singer-songwriter Anne Soldaat and a ballet dance. fdm selects from G-STAR fall 2013 shown at Berlin Fashion Week
