Flirty and Fun: Vaisslle summer 2013

The Vaisslle summer 2013 collection shows all you need is love, well- in all the right places. Girly to the max looks made this Shōjo’s anime-inspired collection even more eye catching. Backless, barely there, and straight up sheer pieces presented the Vaisslle woman as a vixen, who’s not afraid to show her soft side thanks to the sleek fabrics. The romance driven comics combined with the tongue in cheek Vaisslle taste made the Forza Mamma gamine a flirtatious force of nature, who’ll always have the last laugh.

The Vaisslle girl covers only what’s necessary, leaving you to your own imagination. Using hearts to conceal and accentuate harkens back to the focus on the body within the comics. While bright, look at me glittering hues were inspired by the ultimate female obsession: nail polish. Looking at it’s layering effect translated into endless, technicolor touches for summer. The ruffles, and ruching on the waist and décolletage added a flirtiness, while leathers added a moment of luxury. Lots of long-sleeved pieces and trousers in lightweight fabrics added smart functionality for those hotter months.

Having dual bases in both Paris and Germany, the french label Vaisslle offers a twist to the youthful air. Humor and happiness, with a dark edge,  is what drives the brand each season.  FUN times! fdm LOVES Vaissle spring summer selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Mary Anderson.
