FALL mood: SUSTAINABLE COZY

The leaves are changing tones, there’s a scent of fall and little chill in the air. As beautiful as the fall season feels outdoors, it makes me want to get cozy indoors for cozy times! A few sustainable season favorites to feel good and feel more cozy this fall!  Here’s my first guide of the season!

When it’s chilly out, one of the first things I look for at home is a nice candle. It’s amazing how quickly my mood can be enhanced with a soft scented candle that illuminates a warm light I typically stock favorite scented candles that are unused in the closet at home to get a fresh scent when I’m digging for clothes, and I bring one out as needed to inspire the COZY mood and warm me up.

This fall season, I discovered Mise en Scent‘s French New Wave scented candle. Hand poured in Brooklyn and clean burning, the MIse en scent candles are inspired by movies. A perfect pairing to cozy up, watch a flick and chill, n’est-ce pas? These 100% natural soy and wax based candles use all cotton wicks, and smell divine with phthalate-free fragrance oils without taking over your space. Getting cozy with a warm drink always makes me feel better. Coffee or Tea?

One step ahead and on the go! For Tea time, I’m using loose tea instead of tea bags whenever I can, and leaning wellness and immunity over the typical herbal teas at the grocery store.  Made in small batches, the deliciously scented Immune Tea formulated by Dr. Susan Eisen  contains ingredients including Strawberry infused herbal green tea, rose petals, lavender, Jasmine perles, dried strawberry, and made in small batches locally.  After the pandemic hit last year, the tea was developed as part of an immune boosting protocol for patients in Dr. Eisen’s private practice in Manhattan. 200 servings, $45.
