CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Elie Saab Fall 2014 PFW

Only a handful of designers can sweep you off your feet and send you to a romantic escape every season. This is Elie Saab’s expertise, the master of evening gowns and high drama. For his Fall 2014 collection, this designer dressed it down [slightly] and added some gorgeous blouse/trouser ensembles into the mix. The palette is deliciously dark with gorgeous ombre back for a second round. Incredibly stunning, delicately feminine for PFW.

The first amazing look starts the collection off with a bang. A deep burgundy cape kisses the ground, its fuzzy collar dripping with grandeur. There’s a perfect line of looks in this same shade…so perfect for autumn like a rich wine. Ombre appears in pale pink numbers, mixing beautifully into black. There’s gowns in short and long variations along with dyed fuzzy coats. Prints appear next and slip into the reaming teal and black dresses quite gorgeously. A few highlights include over-the-shoulder sexiness along with decadent coats cinched at the waist. The drama’a all here…but comes with immense class. This is something special.

Of course, there’s some sparkle and shine to go around too. Even a bit of leg to up the ‘oomph.’ Va-va-voom…this muse is a stunner. fdmLOVES ELIE SAAB Fall 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
