CARLOS MIELE fall 2013 look book

For Carlos Miele, striking isn’t static-but rather transcends every season. Incorporate brighter, bolder hues no matter the month, by taking note of the way Miele turns tradition on its head in his looks. For cooler days,  take a shocking and striking hue such as scarlett or cobalt, and don it in a tougher fabric such as leather.   For you minimalists, his graphic gowns give a sleek “curvilinear” shape, that is both enticing and exciting for the eye (especially when paired with the short bold jackets).

Showing us how romanticism can be rough as well by adding hardware here and there amongst the voluminous ruffles and pleats . Black and white is fresh again when played with a range of colors. Think cobalt blue trousers that pop against the crisp monochromatic prints on top- while the abundance of black texture around the collar provides underlying functionality (and fun) to fashion. Also, for those not afraid to show a little skin, try a v-neck tailored top for day, while opting for a leg-baring look, such as the deep fuchsia gown, once night falls.
