CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Titania Inglis Spring 2014

young designer Titania Inglis show was the perfect combination of soft and hard for pretty with an edge. For the Spring 2014 season, she found inspiration in Olafur Eliasson’s use of monochromatic light and structural prisms which led to the creation of a very cool show with a simple yet eye catching structure covering the runway.

The clothes gave us just enough femininity to keep us comfortable paired with the right amount of structure and edge to keep us wanting for more. It was evident that great attention was given to even the smallest aspect of the show. With a philosophy of “lush minimalism” and a motto of “Less, but better,” we were happy to see clothing colored with natural dyes, neutral colors, organic cotton jersey and purple-gray hues. She was careful position the clothes shown on the runway and the runway itself so that they completed each others story. We loved seeing the striking and wearable pieces. The collection was shown at the Standard Hotel in modern harmony to the overall styling of the looks. TITANIA INLGLIS SPRING 2014 written by Lauren Watts.  Here’s a peek, more pics to come.
