Suzanne Rae FW13
Young designer Suzanne Rae gave us minimal looks for fall 2013. Brooklyn native Suzanne Rae Pelaez constructed the garments for this season by expressing her take on the importance of the multiple-roles of females in the modern times. The simplicity was developed in a number of contemporary looks at the presentation. Fabrication that highlighted the softness and purity of skin was in abundance, color blocked in black and white combinations on paneled dresses and tops for bold.
Head to toe loose-fitted boyfriend clothes elongated the models bodies conservatively. Not a lot of skin shined through this season, if anything, an arm or leg here and there but nothing too suggestive. Mimicking the white purity of snow, a handful of pants, jackets, dresses, skirts, and sweaters were all structurally linear, with the wavy-haired models giving a bit of feminine appeal to the collection.
