SNOW FOX winter SKINCARE

With the weather changing from freezing to warm in the last couple of weeks, our skin has a variety of environmental stresses to deal with.  From the over-dry heated indoors to the windy outdoors, it’s hard to know what product range/s to use to keep your skin in consistent ‘check’ in the beauty routine.

In my case, I was navigating in the cold + windy conditions near the water on the west side of the city during the past couple of weeks for the fall 2018 mens fashion week  + NYFW runway shows – and needed maximum coverage with minimal maintenance.

I tried out a simple SNOW FOX regime this NYFW season, with a soothing facial mousse as a wash +  day and night defense cream as moisturizer, and added a mask to boost 1x.    Considering the dry conditions, I was surprised that the not so greasy clean organic formula in the moisturizer held up without feeling too dry.  The brand and range were initially formulated for hypersensitive, troubled skin, and the formulas help with redness, dry patches, hyper-pigmentation & clogged pores.  Sounds like a perfect product!

On some nights, I supplemented a facial oil just to feel more hydrated in the dry heat indoors.   But much to my surprise – my skin did pretty great, considering the stress of the shows -only 1 tiny breakout in 10 days + and I feel like I have balanced skin health.   Hi-5! Plus, No Parabens or silicones, sulphates, or synthetic preservatives.

Here’s what my minimalist fashion week skincare regime was:

SNOWFOX soothing facial mousse, DAY + NIGHT defense cream, and Arctic Breeze mask.

A week prior to the shows, I did get a clear and brilliant laser treatment at Dr. Michael Jacobs (#Jacobsderm) to brighten the skin, which helped the glow while getting photos… and while exfoliating from the treatment and afterward, the SNOWFOX range worked fine with no reactions or irritations.   I DID wait a week or more after the clear and brilliant treatment to use  and used the Arctic Breeze mask which gave me an additional boost without irritation.
