Smart forJeremy | jeremy scott goes electric

catching up:  GOING for designer fun, Smart forJeremy kicked of at the LA Auto show with designer Jeremy Scott and an event hosted by smart USA.  The colorful designer to the stars collaborated with the intelligent automobile company to unveil a special model going by the name Smart forjeremy. Scott’s signature touch goes far beyond the reach of outfitting pop divas, his scope is brilliantly applied to create a white winged mini mobile accented with red on the tips, an electric car cutie available to the world starting 2013.

The premiere was held at Jim Henson studios and featured a fun-filled cast of attendees. Perez Hilton and Liberty Ross, rapper A$AP Rocky were just a few fab faces on hand to usher in a new era of clever customization. The vibrant scene got amped with a musical performance by M.I.A. who shared the stage with the main attraction on wheels, plus background beats thanks Leigh Lezark and Greg Krelenstein of The Misshapes.  Written by Sarah A. About Smart Car: the vision of Nicholas Hayek, the inventor of the Swatch watch, became a reality when he approached Mercedes-Benz with his idea for an ultra-urban car in the early 90s. It debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1997 with accolades for innovation.
