Shipley & Halmos menswear collection Fall 2013

The upcoming fall season never looked so stylish for the guys. Shipley & Halmos menswear Fall 2013 collection is a crossover of modernness leaning towards preppy hints, hipster moments and a hint of southern charm. Layering peacoats, wool, and wovens are the highlight of this line for braving the cooler weather.

Model Nicolas Wincenc shows the essence of the brand’s wearability well in their fall look book. Plaid is in for fall, with woven shirts paired with corduroy pants is the essence of functionality for the classic-gone slightly hipster sportswear collection. Co-designers Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos, share about the brand.. “a balance of clean, tailored suiting with American classics in a way that feels no more dressy and no less casual than an area right in the middle. No more modern and no less vintage than rooted pleasantly in the present tense.”

Looks with crewneck sweatshirts paired with faded denim and button down dress shirts speaks volumes for stylish, seasonal durability. The overall tone  focuses on the man that just wants to look good while remaining true to himself. The collection wins big on a different takes of varsity jackets,  wool suit blazers, and layered slim looks. More fdmLOVES SHIPLEY & HALMOS selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Natalie Barry.
