RICK OWENS talks on TUMBLR

ask RICK! Just another fabulous day on Tumblr, one of FashionDailyMag‘s favorite platforms to see fashion, breathe fashion, share fashion and now ASK fashion via ‘Answer Time.’  Rick Owens teamed up with Dazed for this special treat and the fan Q&A will follow his womens SS16 show taking place tomorrow during PFW– on the platform. Yes, Rick will answer!!!

The famed designer and “California-bred ‘prince of darkness,’ Rick Owens has become synonymous with American gothic style.”  A very private person, Owen’s social media channels are carefully curated collections of the images and art that inspire his work. – which, in my opinion, is exactly what Tumblr’s curated content is about- and keeps me actively on the platform.

On Friday, at 11AM ET, for one hour only, Owens is taking over Dazed Digital’s Tumblr to answer fan’s questions about anything from his pet blackbirds to his SS16 womenswear show, which is happening tomorrow. Fans can tune into the ‘Answer Time’ to ask the designer about his creative process, what inspired his most recent collection, his love for black leather, and more.

‘Answer Time’ was launched this summer with the aim of providing an open platform for Tumblr’s robust community to ask today’s pop culture creators the questions users all want to know as they relate to headline-grabbing album releases, product launches, election campaigns, and more. All Q&As are archived at tumblr.com/explore/answertime with past “Answer Time” sessions by Miley Cyrus, model Charlotte Free, 5 Seconds of Summer, Supernatural’s Misha Collins, and Bill Nye.
