PREEN fall 2013 LONDON

Hot to trot in London with Preen RTW collection for AW13. Designers Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi captured edgy chic in a mostly black and red range of hard lined pieces mixed with feminine fundamentals. Geometric, symmetric, and asymmetric all have a place in the streamlined silhouettes that get added attention with collars and go a little boxy with moto.

Meant to be seen zippers, sometimes truly for function other times purely for aesthetics became an integral component of the appeal. By drawing the eye down long slits or across the body with diagonals, design elements reinforced the vibe. Prints, mostly of the abstract variety lent movement without compromise to the alternative factor.
