One Teaspoon Holiday 2013
the calendar days are moving into the next season but we don’t need to say good-bye to the laid back look we loved this summer. One Teaspoon by Australian designer Jamie Blakey is casual and fashionable for Holiday 2013 | 2014 Collection. An combo of Aztec inspiration and Old Teaspoon’s signature rock-and-roll gives us a little fringe, denim and cool western with an edge.
One Teaspoon gives a fresh perspective to add to stereotypical coastal surfer fashions with Mexican and Wild Western detailing abound. Printed playsuits and beyond cool denim seem to dominate, with tops fit for a rock star. Gingham is the new plaid and fringe has been replaced with shine instead of suede. Their classic drop-crotch jean, The Runaways, emerges this season with embroidery and fringe for a western makeover. The awesome Baggies now come in acid wash and studs. Denim jackets with Aztec embroidery and rocker skulls rival cheetah embellished and fringe vests for which look will be most popular this season. Both lace and sequins make an appearance to sweeten the edgy leather designs on blazers and pants.
Laid-back, glamorous, rebellious… infused with heritage motifs, One Teaspoon’s Pre-Spring 2014 | Holiday 2013 collection is wearable and right on! fdmLOVES ONE TEASPOON selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Nadia Hartvigsen.
