CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

NYFW: Spring 2014 highlights days 2 and 3

The first half of the NYFW coverage continues to be quite the thrill ride filled with backstage love. On Day 2, our editor ran into her fav model, Willy Cartier, while rushing to a show. Nearly missing him, the two embraced a ‘hello.’ She also spent some outside time with models Ben Allen, Alexander Ferrario, Baptiste Radufe, and Matthew Bell [again, of course!] at the General Idea show, getting a firsthand off-the-runway experience with the boys.

On Day 3, we got a behind-the-scenes glimpse at Charlotte Ronson, Monique Lhuillier, Katya Leonovich, and Malan Breton.

On Friday, gorgeous frocks from Zimmermann and cool modern looks Chadwick Bell kept us in awe, while Carmen Marc Valvo‘s dresses were beyond. Noon By Noor delivered a cute set filed with classic prints as Solange Knowles took in the glam sights from the front row. Houghton gave us gorgeous whites while Nautica‘s guys were styled in the absolute best of menswear. Even spotted Sean O’Pry in the handsome mix. Brian Lichtenberg‘s cuts were sassy but ultra feminine, perfectly mixing both mediums with ease.

While on Saturday, things started off sweetly with Lacoste and Jill Stuart showstoppers. Mara Hoffman stuck with her gorgeous colorful prints and patterns while Herve Leger by Max Azria gave us alot of zippers. Christian Siriano showed his absolute ‘fiercest’ collection to date and a backstage view at Katya Leonovich gave us some more ‘model time’ and a close up view of some fantastic leathers.  Cynthia Rowley had tons of patterns at the romantic High Line Hotel. Charlotte Ronson gave us cute flower patterns with cherries as a bonus. Monique Lhuillier had some contemporary day looks, and then gorgeous flowing gowns.

We finished off day 3 celebrating with Kelly Cutrone and the Peoples Revolution team at the Soho Grand celebrating Maker Studios’ The Platform presents Prêt-à-Party with DJ set by Amy Pham. Are we slowing down? Absolutely not! Another two days filled to the brim with the best of NYFW. Still so much more to come.
