Metropolitan Opera jewels at Met Opera Shop

It’s time for a bit of culture. The Metropolitan Opera will be selling selections from its collection in partnership with One Kings Lane. Beginning May 8th, the Met Opera Shop selections will include special items including jewelry, at amazing prices. Brooches, necklaces, bracelets.. a handmade scarf and a seven piece place setting of Rosenthal Pickard china inspired by Magic Flute. Here are some of our favorites: 

 

Nadia Roden Scarf- A handmade scarf by artist and illustrator Nadia Roden. Captures the romance and intrigue of La Boheme.

Giclee Print- A Met Opera Shop commissioned piece by artist and theatre designer, Michael Stennett.

Aida Azure Glass Brooch- Inspired by Aida, this brooch is a dazzling piece.

Green Flower Brooch– Inspired by the rich greens and golds from the Met Opera’s Aida.

Tosca Velvet Cuff- Designed exclusively for the Met Opera by Lenora Dame.

Japanese Fan- This Japanese folding fan has been autographed by more than 30 opera singers, composers and musicians that were active in New York and London from 1902 to 1932.

Aida Cuff- A modern interoperation of the Egyptian motifs found in the Met’s Aida.

Met’s Original 1966 Sconces- A few of the Met’s original 1966 sconces will be available throughout the sale. Designed by Hans Harald Rath of J. & L. Lobmeyr, Vienna.

Rosenthal Pickard China- Complete seven piece place setting set designed by Bjorn Wiinbland and features inspiration from the Magic Flute production.
