MENSWEAR gets a new day again! Just prior to the womenswear shows kicking in, we got to see some hot menswear for the upcoming fall 2015 season at NYFW.  Here are some highlights from Ernest Alexander, J lindeberg, Fingers Crossed, Gents, Timo Weiland, J. Lindeberg, Cadet, GarciaVelez and Carlos Campos. We caught up with favorites Piero Mendez, Felix Génouin, and Nicola Wincenc at J.Lindeberg, Paul Boche and Benjamin Jarvis at Timo, Jakub Pastor at Carlos Campos, and Adonis Bosso at Ernest Alexander.

Here are a few favorite classic, forward, and modern dapper looks from the NYMD Menswear collections held at Industria during NYFW fall 2015 collections.

Wanderlust for the trend savvy traveler at Ernest Alexander Fall 2015. Menswear with swagger and a sense of adventure got mixed up in modern with handsome styling. Pleased to see our guy Adonis Bosso in the line-up. Plaid patterns, leather elements, and wool pieces rounded out a seasonally balanced group ranging from classic pairings to military influence, this collection straddles the road of urban cowboy and the cool jet-setter.

Plenty of posing with some of our favorite models Piero Mendez, Felix Génouin, and Nicola Wincenc at the J.Lindeberg presentation at Industria Studios. A so called space odessy of superb style unveiled a sharp mix of tailored pieces layered with cool. Cropped hems and long parkas added a bygone feel to the edgier vibe. Motto jackets and bold plaid coats added posh practicality to the cohesive collection.

Fingers Crossed went nautical with streetwear that was naturally fetching. Tasteful accents fused the fanciful form with fashionable function. Under the sea elements extended to sailor stripes and water prints on pants. Yellow pieces in waterproof wears were worn in complement to woolen dropped crotch pants. Playfully appropriate rain hates topped of the casually refined look.

Squared up style with new school cool at Timo Weiland Fall 2015. On the road again with an assortment of ensembles that range from traditional ensembles with hints of preppy and punk laced throughout. From two-tone checks to thin grid prints, the collections was polished in artful sophistication. We caught up with Paul Boche and Benjamin Jarvis, two of our favorite among the sharply dressed fellas.

Sporty style with motto nods at Gents Fall 2015. Attractive athletic wear highlights the evolution of the line. The designer’s signature look translated into beanies and bad boy apparel with ease. Street chic with gets an urban overhaul from sweats to bombers with understated detailing.

Military themed Cadet delivered structured silhouettes rooted in a forties era feel. Wartime heroes and the working man blues come together for casually regal dressiness. Wardrobe staples than can be worn for years despite the trend and still look stylish. Overcoats stole the show with a strong selection of collard and hooded varieties. On the softer side cardigans and beanies yielded seasonal warmth and durability for Fall 2015.

Clean lines and fresh faces at Garcia Velez Fall 2015. Suited style in slim fits revealed a classically handsome appeal. White shirts with pressed collars developed the stylish sophistication. Black, blue, and charcoal dominated the color palette and were enhanced with understated texture and piercing.

Menswear favorite Carlos Campos got styled with sleek for Fall 2015. Staying true to his tailoring base, the designer ramped up the look. Going less casual and more contemporary, the vignette included intriguing treatment from fabric selection to structure. Printed elements, and asymmetrical influence, gave rise to an eclectic elegance in shades of blue. We even got a glimpse of model cutie Jakub Pastor at along the way.
