Marni Evening Collection 2014
Ah, another exceptionally attractive set. Designer Consuelo Castiglioni‘s MARNI Evening 2014 collection is womanly and entirely pristine. Like her Resort line, this one is very similar in trending skirts below the knee and floor-length gowns that are just lovely. She has a gift of combining sporty and classy silhouettes that end up looking exquisite. There’s that dash of Italian flair that embodies this house, which makes it attractive to look at and wear.
We see cinched waists here that are still wonderful. This designer wants her wearers to accentuate and flaunt their waists, not hide them under baggy layers. The tied bows placed throughout are a cute touch. Blouses are paired perfectly with flaring skirts or blousons. Sleeveless is the way to go for this season, and it’s seen here on a coat and matching dress. Colors are nighttime shades of black, red, green and white. The flawless ballgowns actually look comfortable to spend an entire evening in. Imagine! Effortless gowns…we love it.
Marni prints haven’t been left out, and they look modishly geometric with side-by-side florals on dresses and skirts. Also, take a look at the stunning beaded coat with the fur detailing. It’s so old Hollywood fabulous. The accessories are dazzling but not over-the-top, and heeled sandals make these outfits. Seriously, what’s not to love here? It’s what every woman wants in formal attire. fdmLOVES MARNI Evening 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
