CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

MARA HOFFMAN spring 2013

Aloha baby! The ever so popular label celebrated those who love the look, by giving them something they know while splashing newness and trends at times. Front row at MARA HOFFMAN for spring 2013 Lil Kim was joined by many notables outfitted in pieces from a previous collection like Sports Illustrated model Julie Henderson in a red silk number from Fall 2012, actress Charlotte Ross from the latest Resort, and Irina Pantaeva wearing the a black chiffon dress (FW12), each watching with delight as the tropical treat unfolded – complete with ukulele players to round out the theme driven experience.

Highlighting newly unveiled original prints draws attention with every year. Geometric Abstract print Aloha is vibrant in Stone and Sky, as is Medicine Wheel inspired by healing remedies of herbs + flowers, and Desert in Black and Ivory. Excitingly designed seasonal details like color-blocks and cut-outs fit right in with crop tops and sheer tanks that compliment the beloved and very lounge-able flowing silhouettes of maxi and mini varieties. A lush and colorful landscape of red, pink, and other flavorful shades made for a fashionable getaway in the land of sand, sun, and surf. With these chic models wearing sunglasses, platform shoes, and palm leaves in their hair, the lifestyle of the ‘Mara Girl’ vacationed, front and center. written by Sarah A.
