CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Kate Moss x Topshop Spring | Summer COLLAB

MOSS the BOSS is at it again! Here’s to another collab to get excited about for Spring | Summer season.  After a 3 and a half year hiatus, supermodel Kate Moss has once again teamed up with Topshop. Described as a “full on collection of her greatest hits,” the collaboration has seen Moss create a range that allows anyone to emulate her style and wear her signature classic designer and vintage pieces for a fraction of the cost.

Kate continues her relationship with the quintessentially British brand, adding more of  her design sensibility in creating a timeless wearable (and affordable) collection for all.

It’s her 15th collection with TopShop, which is owned by mega businessman Philip Green, and since her first Topshop collab in 2007 took more than $67 million in sales it’s not surprising the relationship has grown from strength to strength ever since. It’s clearly a partnership that works and the eagerly anticipated collection is to be released in more than 40 countries across the world. The collection is also available at online hip luxury retailer NetAPorter.

The range is inspired by Kate’s off-duty style and features 40 pieces that are centred heavily on the summer beach ethos and inspires us to think warm! There are beaded shirts and kaftans that you’d expect the supermodel to have worn when lounging on a yacht, Great Gatsby-esque shapes pop up in the high waisted trousers and jumpsuits, and the dresses are feminine and flirty. The brand is far more geared towards hedonism than work wear and Kate is almost as famous for her wild lifestyle as she is her modelling, and it’s easy to imagine the supermodel still hanging out in Soho wearing something from her own range.

Kate’s iconic style has inspired designers and fashionistas across the globe and within hours of her new Topshop range hitting the net, 8 of her 40 designs sold out. For those who got their hands on these pieces it was the fashion equivalent of winning the jackpot at an iPad Casino as many buyers instantly put the garments on eBay for more than triple their original price.

The supermodel’s bohemian style is timeless and she shows no sign of slowing down. She may have recently turned 40, but her collab with Topshop, her recurrent catwalk appearances and her role as a contributing fashion editor at British Vogue continue to keep her firmly in the spotlight.
