CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

JAMES FRANCO curates LE BOOK NEW YORK 2013

There have been collaborations of epic proportions this year, and the list continues on! Le Book, the international resource for the creative community, newly released a NEW YORK 2013 collector’s edition compilation. It features the artwork of actor, Hollywood rebel and photographer Dennis Hopper. The series is beautifully curated by Renaissance Man, James Franco. (Is there anything he can’t do?) Creative director, Mark Atlan, also helped make this special collab possible.

For three decades, Le Book has been the place to go for any kind of international creative resources in the exclusive world of high-end ads, editorials and experimental communication. With their yearly events worldwide, they are the true mavens of creative information. Hopper’s photographs seem mainly black and white shots, which feel deeply romantic. Atlan, known for his work with Dior and Comme des Garcons, is also now known for his H&M work. Remember the David Beckman Superbowl ad this year? That was his brainchild. Franco, on the other hand, was an obvious pick for curator.

“Franco’s commitment to artistic expression made him a prime candidate to curate the artwork for this year’s LE BOOk. Who better than an actor wit a penchant to explore the arts, to honor the work of one of the industry’s most noted actors and visual artists?” – LB

We couldn’t agree more. Copies of this limited edition will be available in select locations like Colette in Paris, Clic Gallery  New York and Hennessey & Ingalls in L.A. JAMES FRANCO curates LE BOOK NEW YORK 2013 written by Allison Ripa.
