CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Introducing Hancock Outerwear

If you haven’t heard about Hancock just yet, let us enlighten you.  Greatly inspired by English inventor and British rubber industry founder Thomas Hancock, this English outerwear brand of the same name features rubber bonded cloth with clean silhouettes. Founders Daniel Dunko and Gary Bott  are known for using a ‘vulcanizing’ process, giving materials like silk and cotton the strength, resistance and perfect elasticity it needs for outerwear.

All Hancock outerwear pieces are handmade at their Scotland factory, enlisting the help of two generations of master coat-makers. Lines are fresh and detailing is lux chic, especially in cashmere and silk fabrics. Their coat making process consists of cutting their rubber bonded cloth, gluing to waterproof seams and incorporating more skilled steps that take years of training to master. They are the real deal in outerwear, with pristine craftsmanship and a fashionable twist.  Here’s a little peek at the gorgeous outer gear for women and men. For one-of-a-kind coats, select styles are sold at Barney’s in New York. A special treat for this upcoming winter season.
